I was in room 20-102 - and I was getting noise from the elevators all day and night. There was a conduit running up the wall and ceiling to a hanging lamp - which looked odd. It appears the hotel has not renovated the guest rooms in decades. I was very disappointed with the room (Nighthawk Suite). ![]() He must have also asked to upgrade me, but apparently was denied from whoever he was talking to. He was on the phone with someone and said they might have another room in a better location (view of the Bellagio fountains (NO!)- same room, ready now. I asked about an upgrade (because of AMEX), and I was told I have already been upgraded - NO, I paid extra for this room. I checked in through the MGM app (as I have done at other MGM properties in the past) and from 10 am until check in, the app was telling me they were preparing the room. When I came to the front desk I was told the room would not be ready until 3:00 or 4:00 pm. I was asked and notified the hotel I would be arriving at 1:00 pm. ![]() I booked this through AMEX Travel months ago though the Hotel Collection.
